About Pastor Jonathan
I am Pastor Jonathan, and I've had the privilege of serving in children's ministry for over 13 years, with the honor of being the Head Children's Pastor since 2020. What excites me most about this role is being able to instill the love of Jesus Christ in the hearts of the next generation. To me, it’s so much more than fun and games – it’s about watching kids, no matter their age, experience the power of Christ in their lives.

One of the most rewarding parts of my ministry is witnessing the unfiltered faith children have when they come to the altar. Their belief is pure, and when they open their hearts to God, it’s something truly powerful. It's a beautiful reminder of how deeply God can move in the hearts of the young.

In my role as Head Children's Pastor, I rely on skills like storytelling, object lessons, and asking the right questions to bring biblical teachings to life for kids. I aim to not just educate, but to inspire lasting spiritual transformation.

At Powerhouse Kidz, our mission is clear: "Power for Change and Power for Service." We strive to empower children in two key ways: first, to be transformed into the image of Christ, and second, to equip them with the boldness to share their faith with others.

When I’m not in ministry, I’m pursuing a Doctorate Degree at Liberty University and enjoy any chance I get to play or watch basketball.

About Sister Taedra
Sister Taedra is the Worship Director and Worship Leader at Powerhouse Kidz, where she has served in children's ministry for over 10 years, and as the Worship Director since 2020. Married to Pastor Jonathan since November 2015, she is deeply passionate about leading children into a deeper relationship with the Lord.

What she enjoys most about her role is building meaningful relationships with the kids and watching them experience personal growth in their faith. Seeing them develop a strong foundation in Christ is her greatest motivation, and she works tirelessly to create an environment where they can encounter God through worship.

One of Sister Taedra's greatest strengths is her ability to lead children into the throne room of God through both interactive praise and worship songs. She has a gift for helping kids understand the significance of worship and guiding them to enter into God’s presence with hearts full of reverence and joy.

Her deep love for the Lord and personal devotion to the Holy Spirit fuel her passion to see children not only experience God's love but also the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. She is driven by the desire to see the children of Powerhouse Kidz encounter God in ways that will impact them for a lifetime.

Outside of ministry, Sister Taedra enjoys cooking, baking, and cherishing time with her three children. A truly memorable moment in her life was when she received the baptism with the Holy Spirit during a JSM Campmeeting service. That experience forever changed her direction in life and deepened her calling in children's ministry.
